During high school I use to work with her brother, Bob, at Winn Dixie, who later married Bobbie Wells. It is my understanding that she died of ovarian cancer. This was many many years ago, very sad, an awful way to go. I didn't know her well but everything I did know she was a terrific person.
Kathy faught a long battle and finally died from liver cancer in 1994. She was living in Atlanta at the time and has four children. We were very good friends and had stayed in touch through the years. I really miss her - she was a great friend. I am still in touch with her mother. She died way too young.
