Does anyone know what happened to Carol? I remember that she was very tall and very sweet and a great volley ball player in PE. She was the one that you always wanted on your side if playing sports!!! (that is when you weren't able to get away with not dressing out)...
Yes I know about Carol Dagobert Whitfield. I was in her hospital room a couple days before she died. I had just reunited with her at a Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church, Jacksonville. I was new and she welcomed me in soooo sweetly. We were begining to become good friends and she suddenly contracted lukemia. She died two weeks later. She was survived by her husband and their 4 children including a 6 mo. old baby. The pregnancy had something to do with the onset of the lukemia. She was a wonderful wife and mother and a very sweet Christian. Her husband prayed for a new wife and was blessed to meet and marry a wonderful lady who raised Carol's children with lots of love and attention.
