Gwendolyn Elouise [Gwen] Butler

We had this little game in Mrs. Murray's third grade class (Pine Forest Elementary): It was important to find out how many siblings one had, in case confrontation was nearing, and backup was needed.  Pamela carefully looked around at each student with the smirk, signifying she was the clear 'winner'.

Being the quiet child,  I revealed at the 99th hour of owning 6 siblings,

"I have more than Gwen'', she boasted.  It was a feeling of knowing she was loved and safe. - even as a child, Pamela knew her family would keep her secure from harm.

At the MayDay celebration that spring, Pam enjoyed being a Hawaiian girl.

Swaying with the other dancers ''By the Silvery Moon'', she loved the grass skirt, colorful lei and flower in her hair.

That love of family transcended onto the schoolmates at Douglas Anderson, later at Wolfson.  She was proud being a member of both.

Now there is pure joy knowing she is eternally  safe in the arms of the Master!
He  adores  her immeasurably!  She is safe and well loved.

At out 40th ReUnion, she quietly found herself a spot and danced to the wonderful band.  Definitely a music lover.

She had a genuine love for life.

I do not believe Pamela ever met anyone she didn't like.

What a legacy!  What precious memories!
